In this key role, you will be responsible for the merchandise planning process and will work closely with cross-functional teams, including buying, marketing, and operations, to ensure that our inventory levels are aligned with market demand, sales targets, and financial objectives.
More About The Role Develop and maintain merchandise and assortment plans across key categories Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to achieve sales and profitability targets Conduct category and product analysis to determine buy quantities and inventory strategies Manage order raising, stock allocation, and replenishment to optimise availability Provide in-store merchandising and display guidelines to enhance customer experience About You Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Planner Experience in inventory management within Retail - Footwear is an advantage Proven achievement of the department's sales and gross profit targets Ability to investigate and provide analysis of business and financial challenges, trends and improvement opportunities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills About Us With more than 200+ stores and 2500+ employees nationally and a brand-new state-of-the-art distribution centre, we are Australia's leading retailer and wholesaler of fashion and comfort footwear, owning and operating some of Australia's most iconic brands including Bobux, The Trybe, Midas, Mollini, Cinori, Mathers, Williams, diana ferrari, and Australia's largest online footwear retailer, StyletreadAs a family-owned company, at Munro Footwear Group (MFG) we value our team, our loyal customers, and our dedicated suppliers.
