Project Environmental Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Environmental Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, delivering and monitoring civil works associated with mine rehabilitation.
About the Role:
- Designing and overseeing earthworks, drainage and erosion control structures
- Working closely with environmental specialists, surveyors and contractors
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards
- Providing technical input into project delivery, scheduling and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in civil construction, mining, or rehabilitation projects
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, hydrology, and civil design principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Current Standard 11
