At Niaron Ltd., we are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Site Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level.

The Junior Site Engineer role involves assisting with all aspects of site operations, including health, safety, environment, and quality procedures. The successful candidate will be based on one of our sites in the region and will work closely with the project manager to ensure that all projects are completed to a high standard.

  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements
  • Undertake tasks relating to safety, setting out, and recording resources
  • Review project drawings and specifications
  • Assist with sustainability procurement policy
  • Work with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Deal effectively with challenges within site crews
  • Assist site personnel and upward liaison with the PM
  • Understand the construction sequence as works advance

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good knowledge of HSEQ requirements
  • Ability to interpret site information such as drawings and specifications
  • Effective communication skills
  • Teamwork and leadership
  • Previous experience in civil engineering or utilities
  • Able to work in the outdoor environment
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a site role
  • Required: Safepass, Manual Handling, Full Clean Driving licence
  • Training required but not essential: Sign, Lighting & Guarding at Roadworks, Location of Underground Services
