Niaron Ltd. is a multi-disciplinary civil engineering and utilities contractor operating nationwide in the public and private sector with offices located in Limerick and Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

The role involves assisting the Site Engineer and Project Manager with all aspects of their job including management of health, safety, environment and quality procedures and day to day project management.

As a Junior Civil Engineering Specialist you are required to have knowledge and understanding of civil engineering and utility operations including underground electrical networks.

Duties include:

  • Ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements for every site operation.
  • Undertaking tasks relating to safety, setting out and recording of resources.
  • Reviewing project drawings and specifications.
  • Assisting with sustainability procurement policy.
  • Working with sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Dealing effectively with site crew challenges.
  • Assisting site personnel and liaison with the Project Manager.
  • Understanding the construction sequence as works advance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of HSEQ requirements.
  • Ability to interpret site information.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player willing to work outdoors.
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a site role.
  • Relevant qualifications and training.
