Job Title: Tax Manager

The role of a tax manager is critical in ensuring global tax compliance, providing robust tax support for new project developments and transactions, and optimizing our tax positions across international operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Global Tax Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure adherence to local tax laws and regulations.
    • Review tax returns prepared by external service providers.
    • Prepare tax provisions for financial reporting purposes.
  • Project Level and Transactional Tax Support:
    • Provide expert guidance on tax structuring and assumptions for new development projects and transactions.
    • Collaborate on commercial contract reviews to identify tax implications.
  • Tax Risk Management:
    • Manage and coordinate external tax advisors globally.
    • Identify and mitigate tax risks across all jurisdictions and company activities.
    • Develop and maintain robust tax documentation and transfer pricing policies.
  • Withholding Tax & Indirect Tax (Oversight):
    • Oversee withholding tax obligations on cross-border payments.
    • Provide oversight and guidance on indirect tax matters as they pertain to project development, construction, and cross-border transactions.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant professional tax qualification.
  • 5+ years progressive tax experience with a focus on corporate tax compliance and international tax matters.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting complex transactions and projects within renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
