Job Role: Corporate Tax Specialist
About the PositionThis is a key role in our tax team, responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations. The successful candidate will have expertise in income tax across corporate entities and be able to provide strategic advice to business units.
- Precisely prepare and review tax returns and disclosures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide technical support to business units on tax matters, driving optimal outcomes.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the team, identifying areas for process enhancement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Foster a thorough understanding of tax provisions among business units, promoting accurate population in general ledgers.
- Drive timely preparation of annual income tax return, fringe benefit tax return, and AIIR from a business unit/entity perspective.
- Ensure monthly PAYG Instalment Income calculations are completed in a precise and timely manner.
- Navigate complex cross-border transactions, addressing transfer pricing, Pillar 2, controlled foreign company, and withholding tax issues.
We seek an individual with exceptional analytical and technical skills, up-to-date knowledge of taxation law, and experience working with ledgers, data warehouses, and reporting systems. Attention to detail and numeric accuracy are paramount in this role.
