Job Title: InjuryCare Partner

As an injury care professional, you will play a vital role in the recovery journey of every team member. Your key responsibility will be to deliver best-practice injury management and rehabilitation strategies.

  • You will hold and manage a return-to-work caseload/portfolio that includes early intervention cases and workers' compensation claims.
  • Working in partnership with team members, line leaders, TPAs and healthcare providers, you will lead return-to-work and rehabilitation strategies.

You will support stakeholders on practice and outcomes, interact with relevant teams to drive strategies and ensure early engagement in treatment, claims management and return to work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage operational teams in training and mentoring for managing return to work and legislative compliance.
  • Support operational teams in resolving injury management issues and developing strategies for improvement and intervention.
  • Maintain regular engagement and partnerships with stakeholders including TPAs, rehabilitation providers and treating health professionals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in workers' compensation and injury management, specifically claims management end-to-end, preferably with some exposure to self-insurance.
  • Allied health qualifications highly regarded (OT, EP, Physio).
  • Deep understanding of return to work and rehabilitation best practices, devise strategies based on medical and workplace information.
  • Solid understanding of workers' compensation self-insurance regimes, requirements and practices.
