Exercise Physiologist Role

We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist to play a vital role in safely prescribing and supervising exercise and strength training for clients with diverse health and medical needs.

This position involves combining traditional exercise physiology methods with education on the benefits of strength training for prevention and treatment of health and medical conditions, empowering clients to restore strength and confidence.

About the Job
  • The successful candidate will develop and deliver exercise programs aimed at prevention and recovery to enhance overall health and long-term wellbeing.
  • They will conduct physiological assessments and prescribe exercise for group or individual sessions.
  • The candidate will use objective measures to guide clinical decisions and establish relationships with local Allied Health professionals.
  • Responsibilities also include managing and building a caseload of individual and group sessions.
Key Requirements
  • A recognised Bachelor or Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology Degree from a reputable institution.
  • Current registration with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia).
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Active Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • First Aid Certification and relevant screening checks.
