Performance Enhancement Specialist

The Performance Enhancement Specialist will play a pivotal role in our sports team, responsible for designing and delivering programs that elevate athletic performance across various sports and age groups.
Working closely with the strength and conditioning team, head coaches, and personal trainers, you will foster health, participation, and athletic development in our students from Pre-Prep to Year 12.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and coach effective strength and conditioning programs for students of all ages and abilities.
- Collaborate with the strength and conditioning team to ensure successful and effectual Fitness Centre operations.
- Tailor programs to enhance athletic performance across various sports, ages, and mobility levels.
- Contribute to College-wide performance testing and promote sport, facility use, and community engagement.
- Strong experience and technical knowledge in designing and applying age-appropriate strength and conditioning frameworks across various sports, ideally within a school setting.
- Thorough understanding of the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) Position Stand on Child and Youth Resistance Training.
- Certification in Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) Level 1.
- Qualifications in Exercise and Sport Science or Exercise Physiology, or currently studying either of these (or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to develop student and client abilities.
