Job Description

The Associate Director CCOE Delivery is a versatile and influential role that involves coordinating the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCOE) on AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring adherence to Optus Cyber policies through Control Tower governance. This position requires strong leadership and mentorship skills, as well as expertise in cloud infrastructure strategy, cybersecurity controls, and IAM permissions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the analysis and deployment of secure landing zones on the Cloud Platform, ensuring alignment with organizational cybersecurity policies and guardrails.
  2. Account Lifecycle Management: Coordinate cloud account onboarding processes and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) permissions to support secure and scalable access controls.
  3. Centralized Notification Management: Coordinate and triage cloud-based notifications to ensure timely response and resolution of platform alerts.
  4. Standard Operating Environment (SOE) Maintenance: Manage cloud SOE pipelines, including the monthly release and validation of patched Amazon Machine Images (AMIs).
  5. Service Whitelisting: Maintain and update service whitelisting configurations to support approved cloud service usage.
  6. Proxy Management: Implement and manage forward proxy rules to enable secure outbound connectivity from cloud environments.
  7. Cost Optimization & FinOps Support: Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with the FinOps function to ensure efficient resource utilization and financial governance.
