As a Shift Manager, you'll be part of a brand-new team that's passionate about innovation and operational excellence. You'll lead by example, always keeping Safety and Compliance front of mind in your leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing day-to-day operations in the facility, providing operational leadership and direction to achieve optimal performance.
* Ensuring continual review, improvement, and maintenance of operational activities to drive efficiency, service, safety, engagement, and value within DC operations.
* Enabling the continuous flow of stock, taking immediate corrective action as required, trouble shooting, and undertaking root cause analysis as required.
* Ensuring work carried out adheres to Coles Quality, Compliance, Safety, Reliability, and Cost requirements.
* Driving engagement across the team, facilitating the sharing of ideas in a way that supports achievement of KPIs and continuous improvement.
* Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
* Sponsorship and leadership of change initiatives within the DC, including partnering with support functions throughout Supply Chain and other business units.

Requirements:

* Strong knowledge of lean, six sigma processing principles.
* Experienced leader with proven high-level people management skills for large teams of 100+.
* Extensive experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and people leadership.
* Strong operational experience in Manufacturing, Warehousing, Automation, and/or Retail.
* Tertiary qualifications in lean, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics highly regarded.
