Job Overview

The role of a Senior Civil Engineer is pivotal in the water industry, requiring expertise in designing and delivering water and wastewater infrastructure. This senior position plays a crucial part in shaping the future of our water management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads and contributes to civil design projects for water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment plant civil works.
  • Prepares and reviews technical documentation throughout concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
  • Provides input across the project lifecycle, from planning and feasibility to detailed design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and mentors junior engineers.
  • Engages with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Qualifications
  • Requires a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • RPEQ status or ability to obtain.
  • 8+ years' experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering hydraulic and transient designs for treatment plants (water and wastewater) and linear infrastructure.
  • Strong technical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and client-focused approach.
