Water Infrastructure Design Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Water Infrastructure Design Specialist to lead the design and drafting efforts for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general civil design, particularly in water and wastewater infrastructure, with a strong foundation in water and sewerage design.

  • Develop detailed process and mechanical design documentation using AutoCAD and 12d Model or Civil3D.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop optimal designs for major water projects and other infrastructure projects.
  • Apply expertise in the design and detailing of water and wastewater infrastructure, pipelines, and pump stations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design and drafting efforts for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Produce detailed process and mechanical design documentation using AutoCAD and 12d Model or Civil3D.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop optimal designs for major water projects and other infrastructure projects.
  • Apply expertise in the design and detailing of water and wastewater infrastructure, pipelines, and pump stations.
  • Utilise advanced software tools to streamline drafting processes and ensure high-quality outputs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' industry experience using 12D or Civil3D, and AutoCAD in Australian infrastructure projects.
  • A desire to work on varying projects and technical elements.
  • Contribute to management and prioritization of team workloads.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with Australian Water Authority drafting standards.
