Key Responsibilities
  • Support children in achieving developmental milestones such as communicating wants and needs to participate in everyday activities.
  • Educate and involve parents, carers, and others around the child to promote communication and language development.
  • Help children develop clear and correct pronunciation so others can understand them.
  • Treat stuttering and articulation disorders to promote fluent and confident speech.
  • Address literacy, reading, and writing difficulties in collaboration with teachers and schools.
  • Teach children essential skills to manage food and drinks safely.
Requirements
  • A degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Eligibility for SPA registration upon graduation.
  • Graduated within the last 12 months or graduating in 2025.
  • A full valid driver's license with access to your own vehicle and third-party insurance.
  • A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • A current Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • NDIS Working Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills with attention to detail.
