Strategic Audience Engagement Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Strategic Audience Engagement Specialist. This role will focus on developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that drive engagement, growth, and retention.

This specialist will lead a team in creating integrated campaigns that nurture audiences through various touchpoints, leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making. A key aspect of this role is utilising HubSpot to deliver effective lifecycle campaigns, audience segmentation, and engagement reporting.

The ideal candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on campaign execution, fostering collaboration across teams while meeting defined engagement and conversion targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute market engagement strategies to grow audience reach and engagement.
  • Design and implement alumni and industry engagement campaigns, expanding audiences and deepening relationships.
  • Develop and execute nurture campaigns using HubSpot, including segmentation, automation, and analysis to deliver sales and engagement targets.
  • Oversee digital content, advertising, and campaign collateral creation.
  • Analyse campaign performance using data and insights to optimise engagement and ROI.
  • Lead and mentor a team of content creators, promoting a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Support internal stakeholders across training, product, and student services to align engagement initiatives and build audience engagement and retention outcomes.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful multi-channel engagement and retention campaigns.
  • Proven experience with HubSpot (campaign creation, automation, analytics).
  • Strong background in content development, campaign management, and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • A proven ability to analyse data and drive insights-led decision-making.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and accessibility standards.
  • The ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Business is essential.

Additionally, certifications in Digital Marketing, HubSpot, or Project Management are highly desirable.

A Working with Children Check may be required.
