About our Radio Business

We are a leading multi-platform media network engaging audiences across our Radio Business which is home to Perth's only commercial news talk station. You will be part of the team that Perth turns to for breaking news, opinions and information on what's happening locally, nationally and around the globe.

Our Radio Business is home to some of WA's highest profile personalities. You will truly be working with and learning from the top radio talent in the industry.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our experienced producers to create engaging content for live radio shows.

Your duties may include:

  • Providing support to the Executive Producer, Presenter and News Director with the creation and delivery of audience-focused content.
  • Developing content ideas, researching, scripting and editing stories.
  • Cross-checking all material for accuracy and ensuring content is legally sound.
  • Researching and scripting stories for air.
  • Edit and upload podcasts.
  • Operating and monitoring our callers during the live show and ensuring suitability to go to air.
  • Working with our News and Digital content teams to ensure consistency among our content.

You will have the energy and enthusiasm to embrace our audience and promptly attend to the needs of our most valuable assets: our listeners. You will also have:

  • Proven producing experience in radio, television or other news media.
  • Audio recording and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of news and current affairs.
  • Experience in radio or other news media.
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and broadcast-writing skills.
  • The capacity to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment.
  • A sound understanding of media and broadcast law.
  • The ability to thrive in a team environment.
