Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our financial operations and support system transformation.

The successful candidate will oversee all day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll interface, month-end/year-end close, and annual audit.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance leader with strong technical skills and excellent stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CA or CPA qualification (essential)
  • Minimum 7 years experience in finance, including 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB 15, 1058, 16)
  • Demonstrated experience in the NFP or human services sector, including fund/grant accounting and salary packaging
  • Proven ability to manage audits, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with finance system implementation (Sage Intacct or similar)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
