Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team as a Generalist/Human Resources Advisor. As an integral member of our HR function, you will play a key role in providing strategic support to our Managers and driving business outcomes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing full suite generalist HR support to ensure the effective delivery of HR services across the region.
  • Managing grievances, conducting workplace investigations, and providing counseling and performance management support as needed.
  • Becoming a trusted partner to our Managers in delivering an effective, coordinated, responsive, and stakeholder-centric HR partnering service.
  • Building capability by coaching and supporting Managers on people-related issues.
  • Educating and coaching Managers on compliance matters.
  • Fostering a high-performing workplace culture that attracts and retains talented employees, ensuring culture and value alignment with the business.
  • Talent Management, including end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle support.
  • Communicating effectively within the HR function to ensure consistency of high-quality service and support nationally.
  • Actioning queries through the HR inbox efficiently and responding promptly to all enquiries relevant to the Western region.
  • Data entry and maintenance of employee records.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and processes.
  • Supporting the coordination and delivery of initiatives and company recognition activities to build an inclusive and high-performance culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or significant experience working in the field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resources, ideally as a Generalist/Advisor or Business Partner.
  • Demonstrated experience in Performance Management/Disciplinary Matters.
  • Recruitment experience, preferably in blue and white-collar industries.
  • An ability to travel as required.
  • A strong team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Proficient user of MS Office Packages, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
