**Strategic Intelligence Analyst Role**

This is a challenging role that involves providing high-quality strategic assessments, targeted development briefs and alerts, and other intelligence products to support proactive investigation of suspected corrupt conduct.

The successful candidate will collect and analyze open and authorized source information and evidence to produce strategic intelligence products and advice. They will be responsible for leveraging their strategic intelligence analysis skills in a law enforcement or intelligence context.

Key responsibilities include communicating complex data with clarity, working effectively in diverse teams, staying ahead of best practices in strategic intelligence, and handling both strategic and operational intelligence roles.

About the ICAC:

The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) was established in 1988 as an independent organization to protect the public interest, prevent breaches of public trust, and guide the conduct of public officials in the NSW public sector.

Requirements:

  • A degree or higher-level qualification in an intelligence-related discipline;
  • Significant experience as a strategic and operational intelligence analyst in an operational law enforcement, investigative, intelligence organization, or similar environment;
  • Well-developed planning and organizational abilities;
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to write well and communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds, occupations, and seniority.
