About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate with a strong background in healthcare law to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in defendant medical malpractice and healthcare work or equivalent experience in a defendant insurance background.

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, advising, and negotiating in relation to complex matters, running their own caseload under supervision, and working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality results.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' post-admission experience in defendant medical malpractice and healthcare work or equivalent experience in a defendant insurance background;
  • Demonstrated first-rate legal/commercial knowledge with strong technical and research skills;
  • Ability to draft, advise, and negotiate in relation to complex matters;
  • Experience in running own caseload under supervision.
