RF Electronics Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced RF Electronics Team Lead to join our team in Sydney, Australia. This is a leadership role that requires the ability to manage and guide a team of engineers to develop world-class electronics used in electronic detection and warfare products.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience in RF engineering, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to design and develop electronic hardware, including circuit boards and components, and ensuring that the products meet quality and performance standards.

The RF Electronics Team Lead will also be responsible for managing the team's workload, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. They will work closely with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to understand customer needs and preferences and to develop strategies to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers to design and develop electronic hardware, including circuit boards and components.
  • Manage the team's workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand customer needs and preferences and to develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that products meet performance and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of team progress, deadlines, and project status.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in RF engineering, including 2-3 years of leadership experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of RF engineering principles, including isolation, matching networks, filter specifications, etc.
  • Experience with automated Verification and Validation frameworks.
  • Practical experience with benchtop test equipment, such as high-speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • SCH and PCB design experience using Altium.
