About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Foodservice Business Development Manager to join our QLD sales team. In this role, you will contribute to the successful attainment of Foodservice targets/strategies/market penetration in line with Regional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop strong business relationships with allocated businesses, generate new business, and manage accounts.
  • Initiate and ensure a responsive approach to sales marketing state chain menu requirements.
  • Ensure proactive reporting of all sales requirements, including current and expected business outcomes, opportunities, forecasting, and emerging issues in line with regional requirements.
  • Contribute as an effective member of the Foodservice Team, including mentoring new staff, contributing to team outcomes/goals, developing and maintaining effective communication.
  • Conduct "cook-ups" and product presentations as per call cycle.
  • Drive product pull-through distributors and launch new SKUs in alignment with the State Field Sales Manager.

About You

  • Experience in a Business Development or Sales Representative role, with a passion for sales – within FMCG will be advantageous.
  • Self-starter, motivated to seek action beyond specific position responsibilities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and customer service skills with a commercial focus.
  • The ability to confidently communicate, influence, and negotiate.
  • Good organisational skills – efficiently schedule own time and activities to meet all project time frames.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to interpret business data and report outcomes.
  • Able to travel frequently within QLD.
