Overview:
The Learning & Development Specialist is a key role within Foot Locker's APAC region, responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. This is a permanent part-time position, requiring 22.8 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify training requirements across all store and corporate teams, ensuring alignment with Foot Locker's objectives and individual development needs.
- Develop and implement training plans, including strategies, content outlines, schedules, resource allocations, and performance metrics to address identified needs and measure success.
- Design and produce instructional materials, such as user manuals, quick reference guides, e-learning modules, videos, and presentation decks, tailored to meet specific business requirements and enhance learning experiences.
- In partnership with local and global HR teams, deliver interactive and impactful learning sessions, spanning from onboarding initiatives to specialized technical skills, compliance training, and leadership development programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Support and elevate the team member Engagement, Wellness, and DIBs strategy.
- Develop and implement processes that support succession planning and capability development.
- As required, lead, support, and/or contribute to key organizational strategic projects and initiatives aligned to people and performance.
- Additional related special projects and specific tasks may be required on an ad hoc basis, depending on the needs of the business and as requested by Management.
- Minimum 4-7 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or a similar industry.
- Tertiary qualifications in Training, Learning & Development, Education, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience in designing and evaluating training programs.
- Experience managing large-scale programs and multiple projects.
- Ability to analyze business needs and design specific solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
