Overview of the Role

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Centre Manager to lead the team in delivering exceptional customer experiences on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Centre, leading the team, and engaging with the local community. This role requires effective communication skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality service.

The key accountabilities of this role include ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors and staff through effective policies, processes, and procedures. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for coaching and developing leaders to meet KPIs through engagement, performance planning, and development initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience managing or leading in a leisure or aquatic facility.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Proven experience in operational, financial, and personnel planning and execution.
  • Current CPR and First Aid (Level 2) Certificates.
  • National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People clearance.
  • Legal right to work in Australia.
  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or ability to obtain one).
  • Pool Operations Certificate is highly regarded but not essential.
