Heathcote Swimming Pool is seeking an exceptional leader to manage the facility, team and engage with the local community. As a key role in the organisation, you will be responsible for the centre's operations, finances and programs.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing or leading in a leisure or aquatic facility, with excellent communication skills and knowledge of health and safety legislation. They will also have the ability to develop and implement operational, financial and people strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of visitors and staff through effective policies and procedures.
- Coach and develop leaders to meet KPIs through engagement, performance planning and development plans.
- Lead a high-performance culture through visible and hands-on leadership and team engagement.
- Achieve budgeted performance targets.
- Maintain a strong relationship with the local council.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience managing or leading in a leisure or aquatic facility.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate positively.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Experience in planning and executing operational, financial and people strategies.
