About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Expert Financial Professional to join our team as a Trust Accountant and/or Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of trust accounting, including bond lodgements, daily reconciliations, and end-of-month reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of 600 properties, ensuring accurate and timely processing of trust transactions;
  • Lodge bonds and manage associated records with precision and attention to detail;
  • Perform daily reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurate and up-to-date;
  • Prepare comprehensive end-of-month reports to stakeholders.

In addition to trust accounting duties, the successful candidate will also be responsible for bookkeeping tasks, including payroll processing, general accounts management, and monthly reporting.

Requirements
  • A Senior or Junior working in an assistant capacity, seeking growth and development opportunities;
  • Experience in either bookkeeping or trust accounting, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures;
  • Excellent financial acumen, with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Salary: $55,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
