Overview

Nomura's Rates Trading team is a key part of Global Markets, responsible for trading interest rate derivatives and bonds.

As a Rates Trader, you will sit on the bond desk, managing the ACGB trading book and having exposure to SSA and Semi trading.

Duties
  • Develop and manage relationships with broker/dealers
  • Maintain spreadsheets, market data and trading data
  • Achieve individual and team profit and loss targets
  • Manage risk on trading positions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, and CFA candidacy or Masters degree
  • Solid understanding of rates products, particularly ACGBs
  • Experience trading across the suite of rates products
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, critical and independent thinking
  • Fluent English - written and oral
