  • About the Role:
  • We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to deliver one-on-one support, including personal care, community access, companionship, meal preparation, assistance with communication and daily routines, and participation in community and social activities.
  • The role includes:
    • Personal Care: assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
    • Community Access and Companionship: accompanying the participant to appointments, outings, and social events
    • Meal Preparation: preparing meals and snacks for the participant
    • Support with Communication and Daily Routines: assisting with writing notes, sending emails, and managing daily schedules
    • Participation in Community and Social Activities: participating in activities such as hobbies, sports, and volunteering
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality support services to the participant
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the participant, family, and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
  • Manage participant's daily routines, including personal care and medication management
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of participant's progress and any concerns
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred)
  • On-the-job training provided
  • Friendly, compassionate, and respectful nature
  • Reliability
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
