About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our specialized Knockdown Rebuild team at ABN Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality design sketches, town planning applications, and working drawings using Archicad software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed drawings, including construction details, to ensure accuracy and compliance with building practices.
  • Conduct quality checks on plans to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Reflect dispensations, Council, and Developer requirements in your work.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of supporting documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience using Archicad software.
  • Understanding of contract documentation, preconstruction procedures, and construction techniques.
  • Minimum of Cert IV in Residential Drafting.
  • Knowledge of Construction and Residential codes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Accuracy, neatness, and patience in drawing work.
