About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Masters Draftsperson to join our team at ABN Group. As a key member of our drafting department, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining Master Working Drawings and housing templates that serve as the foundation for our housing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Master Working Drawings for all housing products, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Release, Design, and Production Drafting, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Liaise with suppliers and consultants, such as structural engineers and developers, to ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
  • Correct errors and implement updates as housing improvements are made, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Support and work alongside Greenfields and Knockdown Rebuild teams to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of Archicad, particularly from a Project Drafting perspective, and experience working with a volume builder.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications, with a high-level understanding of construction methods and building regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, with effective time management and organisational abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
