Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our national talent acquisition team. This role will involve collaborating with hiring managers across various service lines to understand their hiring needs and take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to make a real impact on our business. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of our employer brand, EVP, and employee benefits to effectively communicate Grant Thornton's point of difference with potential candidates.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of end-to-end recruitment for a broad range of positions, including drafting job advertisements, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offers, and pre-employment checks.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our employer brand, EVP, and employee benefits to be able to effectively communicate Grant Thornton's point of difference with potential candidates.
  • Collaborate with the People and Culture team and senior stakeholders to understand changing business needs and identify talent requirements.
  • Provide an exceptional level of candidate care to manage the engagement with potential candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in a recruitment or talent acquisition role (large corporate experience highly regarded).
  • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end recruitment solutions.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and drive own outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing talent pools.
  • Proven influencing and stakeholder management exposure.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Sense of humour - we enjoy our work and we take it seriously, but we keep things in perspective.
  • Experience in using applicant tracking systems (Workday Recruitment experience highly regarded but not essential).
