Job Description

The People Systems Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the effectiveness of Montu's HRIS, supporting data management, smooth HR operations, and internal education and change management. As the system lead and Subject Matter Expert for Smart Recruiters, you'll be responsible for improving and managing the system, including project scoping, planning, stakeholder management, and creating test cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Systems Management - SME: Serve as a system administrator, SME, and technical lead for Smart Recruiters.
  • Improve the efficiency and automation of Smart Recruiters, maintaining expert knowledge in the system's capabilities, limitations, product roadmap, and releases.
  • Design, execute, and test system changes in Smart Recruiters, including effective project management, stakeholder engagement, and user behavior changes.
  • Ensure Smart Recruiters documentation is accurately maintained, including system dependencies, network maps, field/setup requirements, and templates.
  • Implement security and admin profiles for local and international users.
  • Help build and maintain resources for employees, managers, and the People team to promote self-service use of people systems.
  • Perform routine audits of Smart Recruiters to ensure all information and setup are up to date.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Have a good working understanding of other HRIS tools used and be able to support BAU and general administration and support.
  • Process changes for employees and people leaders and manage workflow tasks in other tools.
  • Manage access for portals and system access used in the People team.
  • Provide support with management of the systems.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in HR systems management, preferably with Smart Recruiters Talent Acquisition software.
  • Prior experience in project managing HR or Talent system implementation or significant change programs.
  • Proven experience creating test plans and UAT.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst or Implementation Consultant would be beneficial.
  • Strong capability in identifying and managing system interdependencies for successful stakeholder outcomes.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tech-savvy and systems-minded with experience in process optimization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
