Forest Fire Management Specialist

Job Summary:

The Forest and Fire Operations Officer will play a crucial role in overseeing operational tasks and fire prevention activities in Victoria’s state forests, national parks, and protected public land.

Key Responsibilities include ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of work groups, driving productivity, and contributing to emergency response and planned burning operations across challenging terrains.

A successful applicant will demonstrate expertise and coordination skills, with experience and understanding in natural resource management, preferably with good knowledge of forest management and forest operations.

This is an ongoing opportunity available in the Upper Murray District (Eskdale), Victoria. Successful applicants will earn a competitive salary reflecting their skills and experience.
