Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a resource-loaded integrated master schedule.
  • Develop and maintain the project work breakdown structure and support dictionary.
  • Guide project managers and control account managers in planning, analysing, and assessing project cost and schedule performance.
  • Ensure integrity of data included in performance reports and estimates at completion.
  • Assist with promotion and demonstration of a continuous improvement model, values and approaches to business.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems, project planning and scheduling, risk management and program management.
  • Ability to create and generate standard reports and metrics and interpret them across functional boundaries.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in project planning and controls;
  • Strong skills with MS Excel and MS Project.
  • Strong task organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills – ability to work effectively across job functions and with external customers and vendors as required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to facilitate a decision-making process.
  • Experience in a defence environment is desirable.
  • Candidate must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Eligibility can be found at with ability to satisfy ITAR material access compliance.

About the Role:

Raytheon Australia is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Project Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and operation of the systems to plan and monitor program performance and ensure these systems are complaint with customer and company requirements.

As a Project Analyst, you will work closely with the Program Management Office (PMO) manager to develop and maintain a resource-loaded integrated master schedule, and guide project managers and control account managers in planning, analysing, and assessing project cost and schedule performance.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the integrity of data included in performance reports and estimates at completion, and assisting with the promotion and demonstration of a continuous improvement model, values and approaches to business.

We are looking for a candidate with strong skills in MS Excel and MS Project, as well as strong task organisational skills and attention to detail. You will also need to have good stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and be able to work effectively across job functions and with external customers and vendors as required.
