Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Brand Manager to join our Sydney-based team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and plans to drive brand performance and market share in Australia and New Zealand.
About the Role
This is a high-impact role that requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills. You will work closely with internal teams to shape the direction of our product portfolio and drive successful product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy Development: Develop and implement brand strategies and marketing plans to drive brand performance and market share.
- Campaign Planning and Execution: Lead the planning and execution of brand campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and in-person events.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform brand positioning and identify growth opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, medical, regulatory, and finance to align on brand objectives and strategies.
- Budget Management: Manage the brand's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
- New Product Launches: Oversee new product launches, including go-to-market planning, promotional activities, and performance tracking.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, KOLs, and external partners.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyse brand performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Your Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or a related field (master's/MBA preferred)
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in brand management or marketing, with a track record of product launch success in the pharmaceutical, life science, or healthcare industry in Australia
- Proven experience in leading brand strategy and managing large-scale marketing campaigns
- Analytical skills and ability to interpret technical, clinical, and marketing data relating to products or industries
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build professional and strategic relationships
- Strategic thinking, hands-on approach, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in neurology and psychiatry and with digital marketing is desirable
- Experience with Veeva essential
