Job Summary

South East Water is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead enterprise-level projects and initiatives.

The successful candidate will work on digital transformation projects, collaborating with stakeholders to analyse, define and communicate requirements.

This is a 6-month maximum term position until February 2026, covering maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake research and analysis to inform future business processes.
  • Consult with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders and executives to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments.
  • Lead or contribute to the development of business cases for proposed projects or initiatives.
  • Support executive decision-making with reports and recommendations.
  • Facilitate requirement discovery sessions to identify, document and communicate business needs and requirements.

This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of business analysis experience, preferably in government or highly regulated environments.

Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, process mapping, procedural documentation and post-implementation reviews.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or related field.
