Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our commercial operations, you will be responsible for managing client's daily commercial and contractual needs.

This role involves tendering and procurement, drafting contractual correspondence, and developing claims throughout the project lifecycle.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial and contractual risk management, with 3-5 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Tender Documentation: Prepare, collate, and evaluate tender documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Managing Subcontractors: Handle subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules with attention to detail.
  • Claim and Variation Support: Assist with progress claims and external variations to maintain project timelines.
  • Negotiation contracts: Review, negotiate, and finalise subcontracts with precision.
  • Expense Reimbursement: Manage and track project expenditures, including subcontractor claims, to meet budgets.
  • Monthly Reporting: Work with the Contracts Manager to submit accurate and timely monthly reports.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities align with our policies and procedures.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, both verbally and written.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in a related field, supported by significant experience in fit-out and refurbishment delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with procurement and management of major subcontract packages for large-scale projects.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Clear, articulate communication with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Project Experience: Experience in delivering commercial projects across regional areas, with knowledge of the local construction market and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology, including Job Pac and Procore.
