About This Role

Drive strategic objectives into operational deliverables by leading a team of risk management experts. The ideal candidate will have expertise in policy, governance and insurance to shape strategy, strengthen risk management and build a robust incident response framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of five and help define how the organisation thinks about, plans for, and responds to risk.
  • Work with senior leadership and the Board to drive real change.
  • Oversee insurance placements and supplier relationships, ensuring the organisation is well-protected.
  • Develop and lead a team while mentoring and driving continuous improvement.
  • Review and enhance policies, procedures, and systems.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications with risk management, legal or commercial background.
  • Proven experience leading and implementing a risk and compliance function.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with high levels of commerciality and pragmatism.
