Early Childhood Educator Role

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and care to children in a supportive and inclusive environment.
About the RoleThis is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours a week. You will be responsible for leading a team of educators and developing strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual needs of each child;
- Lead and support a team of educators to provide high-quality early childhood education and care;
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration;
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes children's well-being and learning;
- Stay up-to-date with relevant theoretical practices and apply them in your work;
- Work collaboratively with other staff to achieve continuous improvement in all areas of the service's operations and services.
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education/Services or equivalent (ACECQA approved);
- Proven experience in a similar role or demonstrated natural ability;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Understanding of DET Regulations, National Quality Standards, Frameworks, and Early Years Learning Framework;
- Knowledge of Child Safe Standards and Child Protection;
- Passionate about Early Childhood Development and the importance of high-quality Early Years programs;
- Ability to attend monthly staff meetings;
- Enthusiasm towards personal training and learning opportunities;
- Ability to work a variety of shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday;
- Current First Aid/CPR qualification;
- Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma training;
- Current Working With Children Check or VIT registration.

We offer a competitive salary package based on your qualifications and experience. The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 depending on your qualifications and experience.
