The role of the Senior Cyber Security Leader is to oversee and implement comprehensive security strategies, ensuring the protection of sensitive information assets.

This position requires strong technical expertise in cybersecurity concepts, threat analysis, and risk assessment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and guiding junior security professionals.

The Senior Cyber Security Leader will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing enterprise-wide security policies and procedures.
  • Leading teams of security analysts and engineers in response to security incidents.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security awareness and compliance.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, providing recommendations for future-proofing our security posture.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud security, particularly Microsoft Azure, as well as expertise in security tooling such as SOAR platforms and Microsoft Sentinel SIEM.

Additionally, they will demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, lead security investigations, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security, ideally within SOC environments, with at least 2 years operating at a senior/technical lead level is required for this position.

Binaries analysis expertise and technical certifications are highly desirable.

About You:

  • Strong background in Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, detection engineering, incident response, and SOAR tooling.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, and uplift junior security analysts.
  • Solid understanding of cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with GRC frameworks, security documentation, and compliance processes.

  • Tooling knowledge: Familiarity with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow for task tracking, workflow management, and collaboration.

  • Clearance: Active NV1 clearance required to be considered.
