About the Role

You will lead a portfolio of critical functions within a vital capability of an organisation's cyber security ecosystem:

  • Oversee business information security officers who act as strategic interfaces between cyber security and key business units.
  • Lead the delivery of the organisation's cyber security program, including the development, ownership, and refinement of the organisation's cyber security strategy and roadmap.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and APRA CPS 234.
  • Drive a security culture by leading awareness and training initiatives that empower employees to manage cyber risks and foster a security-first mindset.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, delivery squads, and third-party partners to align business strategy with security priorities and operational delivery.

Your leadership will strengthen the organisation's cyber maturity, enhance operational resilience, and protect customer trust.

About You

You are a senior cyber security leader with broad expertise and a track record of delivering business-aligned security outcomes.

You bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role overseeing business solutions delivery and security integration within complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams delivering secure technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong expertise in cybersecurity principles and frameworks, with practical experience embedding security controls throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
  • High analytical and mature problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications demonstrating dedication to security best practices and effective project leadership.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and influence across diverse teams, driving a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading or supporting security awareness and training initiatives building organisational resilience.
