Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and enhancing the quality of formulated products across various categories, collaborating with stakeholders to develop QA requirements in accordance with industry standards and legislation.

This role involves providing technical consultancy to Buying teams and ensuring they are up-to-date with changing compliance requirements/standards. You will also develop and review product specifications and QA requirements, considering mandatory standards, industry standards, and internal requirements.

Liaise with suppliers' development/R&D and QA teams, testing laboratories, and Buying teams on technical issues. Work with Buying teams and suppliers to continuously improve products and support external assessment and approval.

Maintain complaint trends and assess products to manage customer complaints as required.

You will need to have proven experience formulating personal care/cosmetic products within production/manufacturing and expertise in relevant industry standards, regulations, and product label compliance.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to translate to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
