Product Design Technologist Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Product Design Technologist to join our team, focusing on the development and enhancement of our product range.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong scientific background, preferably in Food Processing, Food Science, or related fields. They will also have hands-on experience with sauce formulation and UHT processing, along with knowledge of raw materials, food systems, laboratory equipment, and kitchen environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Progress, monitor, and report assigned Process Design Projects.
  • Review and optimize current operations to reduce costs, improve safety, and quality.
  • Assess the impact of new equipment, raw materials, methods of manufacture, packaging, etc.

Additionally, the successful candidate will support the commissioning of new equipment, set up reprocessing materials and products as required, review current operations to optimize efficiency and deliver continuous improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for developing and championing new ideas.
  • Organized with good analytical data skills and aptitude to problem-solving.
  • Aptitude for hands-on work and passion for the industry.
