About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Officer to join our team at the Black Dog Institute. As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a critical role in delivering and implementing key communication and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community management and moderation of social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Writing and publishing content for our website, including news stories and media releases.
  • Assisting in responding to enquiries and requests in a timely fashion.
  • Maintaining and updating our internal content calendar and assisting with content planning.
  • Supporting the Communications Manager with the delivery of large projects, including the Annual Report and White Paper.
  • Assisting the broader Digital Marketing & Media Team with reporting on audience engagement and insights.
Requirements
  • A qualification in Marketing or Communications, related field, and 1-2 years' work experience in a marketing or communications role.
  • Excellent written communications skills and a passion for writing.
  • Experience in moderating and managing social media communities.
  • Ability to analyse and derive insights from media and social media reporting data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral communications skills.
  • High level of attention to detail in grammar, writing, and proofreading.
