Grain Protection Career Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Grain Protection Officer in our Geraldton team.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct grain fumigations following established procedures
  • Maintain the life of phosphine, identify and respond to potential contaminations from insects, rodents, birds and other external threats to minimize risk
  • Provide reports on pesticide stock and fumigation activities, including weed control programs, wash-down programs, rodent and feral bird control programs, and storage integrity checks
  • Collaborate with Grain Technology to verify activities ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, standards and codes of practices
  • Assist with Receival Points Operator duties, including receiving, storing and outloading grain

Key Requirements:
  • A strong commitment to prioritizing safety
  • Willingness to learn and become fully licensed in all aspects of Grain Protection
  • Possess a valid driver's licence (MR/ HR licence advantageous)
  • High attention to detail
