Grain Protection Specialist

We're seeking a dedicated Grain Protection Specialist to join our team in Geraldton. As a key member of our grain protection and fumigation operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our grain supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct grain fumigations according to established procedures.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of phosphine gas, identify potential contamination risks, and take necessary actions to mitigate them.
- Compile and report on pesticide stock and fumigation activities, including weed control programs, wash-down initiatives, rodent and bird control measures, and storage checks.
- Collaborate with Grain Technology to verify compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
- Assist with receival point operations, including grain receipt, storage, and dispatch.
Requirements:
- Strong commitment to prioritizing safety.
- Willingness to learn and become fully licensed in all aspects of grain protection.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license (MR/HR license advantageous).
