Job Title: Community Care ProfessionalAbout the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our support network, you will work closely with clients across the Perth Metropolitan area to ensure they receive the highest level of care and support.

  • This rewarding role involves providing personal care assistance, supporting clients to remain living at home, and promoting their independence and freedom of choice.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized home environment, preparing meals, and assisting with shopping tasks.
  • Your role also involves providing emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering positive relationships and encouraging their social and domestic well-being.
Key Responsibilities:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support Aged Care, which is essential for this position.
  • Previous experience working in community or residential aged care settings.
  • A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
  • The ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to relate to elderly individuals with empathy and understanding.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and advanced problem-solving skills, as well as excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience building positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate (obtained within six months from date of issue) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.
