Key Educational Role

Townsville Grammar School seeks an experienced educator to coordinate daily operations and provide leadership support.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily activities and lead the team in the absence of the Director.
  • Develop and implement play-based learning programs aligned with Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) and school ethos.
  • Establish positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive environment for all children and contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members to foster a collaborative work culture.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher qualification.
  • Knowledge of Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coordinate daily operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection.
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and commitment to child safety.
