We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at North Shore centre. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a supportive and professional environment where the care, safety, and learning of children are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role:

As a Senior Educator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, planning, implementing and evaluating play-based learning programs aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) and our School's ethos.

  • Build respectful and nurturing relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children, and contribute to the development and implementation of our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
  • Provide guidance and professional support to staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.

Requirements:

A minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Bachelor level qualifications highly regarded). Demonstrated knowledge of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) and National Quality Standards (NQS). Leadership skills with the ability to support and mentor staff and coordinate daily operations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on building partnerships with families.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Current training in Child Protection.
  • A valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and commitment to child safety.
