Facilities Manager Job Description

About Our Facilities Management Team

We are seeking an experienced facilities manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering asset management, maintenance and construction services in challenging environments.

The Role:

  • Develop effective business relationships with clients and customers.
  • Provide leadership to your team to achieve business objectives and foster a culture where safety is a core value.
  • Manage emergency, environmental and work health and safety requirements of the accommodation facility and its licensed area.
  • Manage staff and sub-contractors to ensure operational delivery requirements of services including accommodation management, building maintenance, and cleaning are met within quality parameters.
  • Review policies and procedures as they pertain to site management.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on a strict timeline.

Requirements:

  • Operational experience: Proven experience in site management (including soft and/or hard facilities management and/or accommodation management).
  • Leadership skills: Hands-on and proactive approach to facility management.
  • People management: Proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Process orientation: Demonstrated ability to follow processes and procedures to achieve contract compliance.
  • Interpersonal skills: Well-developed interpersonal skills including report writing competencies, computer literacy and the ability to maintain high customer service standards.
